The second annual "Comunidad, Educación y Cultura" conference, "Building Bridges: Comunidad, Educacion y Cultura," will bring together influential community leaders to forge stronger partnerships within our community and explore how to blend our cultural heritage with modern education, empowering our young leaders and cultivating a better future.

Our speakers will share knowledge and experiences, emphasizing the importance of inclusion, equity, and diversity in the educational realm. This event is a chance to strengthen our alliances, address current challenges, and pave a sustainable path forward.

At "Comunidad, Educacion y Cultura," we'll celebrate the richness of our cultural identity while committing to educate and nurture the generations to come!

Hablamos Moderator con Sharon Montero,
“Tia Gloria” on PBS Kids, Alma’s Way!

Sharon “La Loca” Montero lives life out loud!

Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Dominican parents, and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, she’s been taking loyal listeners along for the ride for more than a decade by speaking her truth as the crazy cousin you can’t help but to be around. Montero’s zest for life and faith in the Lord helped launch her radio career in Florida, working at more than a half a dozen stations before returning to the New York’s tri-state to host middays on NY radio.

After Covid  hit and changed our lives forever, Montero made a change and returned to the airwaves as a recurring voice as Tía Gloria, on PBS Kids new hit show “Alma’s Way.”

La Loca doesn’t dial down her personality once she’s off the air. Her work hard, play hard attitude has awarded her opportunities to appear on television, host events, travel and more; something that she shares openly with thousands of subscribers on her YouTube channel, It’s La Loca TV.

Join us on September 28th for a Keynote discussion with Sharon Montero as we discuss nuestra hispanidad y el mundo de entretenimiento!
